Regional College of Pharmacy, Sitapura, Jaipur, and the Swasthya Kalyan Homeopathic Medical College and Research Center jointly organized an awareness program in the college’s seminar hall as part of the “Drug-Free India Campaign-2026.” The program’s objective was to raise awareness among students and youth about the ill effects of drugs and to inspire them to work towards a healthy, drug-free society.

Students, faculty, and staff members enthusiastically participated in the program. Experts provided information on the physical, mental, social, and economic ill effects of drugs and encouraged prevention, healthy lifestyles, and positive thinking. The program included a question-and-answer session and a dialogue, and students pledged to achieve a drug-free India.

Chairman Dr. Prem Surana said, “Addiction not only affects the health of the individual, but also the entire family and society. Addiction can be curbed by promoting awareness and positive activities among youth. We must work together to build a healthy and drug-free society.”

Vice Chairman Dr. Anshu Surana said, “Youth are the nation’s greatest strength. It is essential to keep them away from drugs and engage them in education, skill development, and creative activities. Only aware youth can build a drug-free and empowered society.”

Addressing the students, Principal Dr. Tarachand said that staying away from drugs is the first step towards a healthy and successful life. He urged the students to stay away from drugs themselves and spread the message of drug de-addiction to their families and society.

During the event, Khushboo Kumari coordinated information and planning, while Nehal Sharma provided technical and presentation support. Finally, all participants pledged to stay away from drugs and raise awareness about their ill effects.
